How to Extend or Modify Your Rental: A Step-by-Step Guide
Plans change. Here's everything you need to know about extending your rental period, changing your return location, or upgrading mid-trip.
One of the most common questions Enterprise KSA receives is: "Can I keep the car longer?" The answer is almost always yes — and with the right approach, extending or modifying your rental is straightforward.
Extending Your Rental Period
If you need the car for additional days, there are three ways to extend:
- Via the Enterprise KSA App: Tap "My Reservations", select your active rental, and choose "Extend". The new rate is calculated and charged to your card on file. This is the fastest and most convenient option.
- By calling the branch: Contact the branch where you picked up the vehicle. They can modify the agreement in real time and advise on rate differences.
- By visiting any Enterprise branch: Walk in to any Enterprise KSA location. Any branch can modify an active rental in the system, not just the original pickup location.
Changing Your Return Location
A one-way rental allows you to return the vehicle to a different location from where you picked it up. Enterprise KSA offers this between most major cities. A one-way fee may apply depending on the distance between locations.
Upgrading Mid-Trip
If you decide you need a larger or more capable vehicle partway through your trip — perhaps you've decided to go off-road or need more space for luggage — contact any Enterprise branch and ask about an upgrade. Subject to availability, you can swap to a different vehicle class.
What to Know About Rates
When you extend a rental, the new days are charged at the current daily rate, which may differ from your original booking rate. If rates have increased, it is sometimes cheaper to call the branch and negotiate than to extend via the app.
